Text: Luke 18:15-17
Today, we will listen to Jesus loves children and He is always with them. Are you ready? When Jesus came to the world, many people followed him. They wanted Jesus to give them Health, wisdom and many things. They used to follow him and stay beside him.
Jesus was a busy man. He taught people about the words of God, he healed sick persons, Many people came to him to be cured. They treated Jesus as a Doctor. One day, Jesus climbed up the mountain, 5000 people followed Him to listen to His words. Among those people, Many children were also there. They want to hear Jesus too. Do you want to be there too... ???
After Jesus finished his preaching. Children came near to Him, those children like Jesus and they want to stay near to Him. But when 12 of the disciples (friends) saw it, the disciples spoke sternly to those who brought them. Do you feel sad for those children??? Those children would be so sad and they might cry. But Jesus loves children very much. He always cares for them. When he saw that His friends scolding those children. He called them and says ' Do not forbid those children. Let them come to me. I love them and I want to bless them'. Jesus put His arms around those children.
Jesus further said, “For it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs". Those children would be so happy. Isn't???? So, we know that Jesus loves us, all of us, He looks after us when we are sleeping, during day time, when we go to school and when we are studying, He guides and takes care of us all the time. He bless children, He bless us and stay with us.
Therefore We should obey Him. If we obey and respect our parents and teachers, if we do as they say, that means we obey Jesus. We should before eating, before we go to bed... and we should not fight with our friends.. we should not hate anyone.
If we only faithful to Him and obey His words, we will have a long life and good life. Even after we died, we will go to heaven
Do we want to go to heaven?? Let's obey and be faithful to God so that we will all go to heaven..
